Actions for mentees

Discover MentorKey's Actions feature in supercharging your goals. This guide will explain how to use the Actions feature on MentorKey to ensure accountability, track progress and accomplish your objectives. Turn your aspirations into reality with MentorKey.

This guide outlines how to use Actions from the Goals page. To find how to use Actions from the Sessions page click here.

What are Actions?

Actions represent the specific steps identified by you and your mentor to accomplish your goals.
Actions can be assigned to a particular Pillar Goal in cases where the action is likely to progress the achievement of that specific Pillar Goal.

Logging Actions

Logging Actions in MentorKey helps you and your mentor maintain accountability for completing actions. Although it's highly recommended that you do so, it is entirely optional and you have the flexibility to choose whether or not to log your actions.

Creating and assigning Actions

Heads up: Actions that you create in MentorKey will automatically be shared with your mentor

When you create an Action, you will be required to assign it to either yourself or your mentor, to indicate who is responsible for completing it. Similarly, your mentor can create and assign Actions.

If an Action that you create is related to one of your Pillar Goals (meaning it will contribute to the achievement of a specific pillar goal), you have the option to assign it to the corresponding Pillar Goal.

Heads up: An Action can only be linked to a Pillar Goal if you have created Pillar Goals

Here are two ways that you can create and assign an Action on MentorKey
